It is the oldest racetrack in the province of Quebec since 1830 and the only racecourse in a professional class still operating in Quebec. Some also called it Hippodrome 3R, a horse racing course situated in Trois-Rivières, Mauricie, Quebec (Canada), at 1850 boulevard des Forges, and currently operated by the Club Jockey du Québec.

In 1896, it began its renovations and improvement, acquiring a one-mile running track to set up an exhibition area, a second half-mile route, and a new sandy bottom covered with clay course 70 feet wide and solidified. It further expanded in 1900 and was renovated in 1916 by the new Municipal Exhibition Commission. However, on June 17, 1931, the large platform was ruined by a fire breakout in an hour. It even went through a second fire incident on June 12, 1970, killing 84 horses and damaging eight stables. Tragedy still did not stop when in January 1992, another fire devastated the facility and killed 90 horses. Then in 2012, the Club Jockey du Québec bought the track to save it from closing due to bankruptcy, making it the only active racetrack in Quebec.
