Red Mile Racing is a horse-racing track in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. It opened in 1875, at Red Mile Rd.
History
On September 28, 1875, the red mile racing stood, funded by the Kentucky Trotting Horse Breeders Association. It was not that popular before it was advertised. However, afterward, newspapers published articles about the new track increased the number of attendees. It is also known as the second-oldest harness racing track globally and the oldest horse racing track in Lexington. Moreover, it also hosts one of the Triple Crown of Harness Racing for Trotters which is the annual Kentucky Futurity.

Track Details
The physical attributes of this track are one mile long and made of red clay, from which its name originated. It also features a two-story clubhouse, a round barn, and a park. The clubhouse is often used for weddings, parties, and other gatherings. The Tattersalls area can hold large groups and is often used for horse sales.
Around 6000 patrons can fit in the Grandstand and outdoor apron, which does not even include indoor capacity, in which the maximum capacity is 400.
